I grew up next door to a filmmaker who, at that time, was one of the few people in Europe to own a Phantom high-speed video camera, capable of filming in super slow motion. Working with him as a young boy - filming rattle snakes strike at 2,000 frames per second and watching water balloons burst in slow motion - my eyes were opened to the magic of filmmaking from a young age. Now, with my commercial experience in documentary, fashion, and the outdoors and inspired by my close relationship with the natural world, I like to produce quality, authentic films that connect audiences to a deeper place within themselves and to the natural environment that surrounds us all.
I've worked in the most extreme of conditions from filming long distance nordic ski expeditions within the Arctic Circle, to high altitude treks in the Himalayas, freediving off remote islands on the equator and filming in heavy surf on shallow reefs. My first step into the world of narrative film has led my first short as DOP, Circle Hook, to be accepted into the Cornwall Film Festival and will be having it's UK premier in Nov, 2025. Filmmaking, for me, is a privilege, and one that brings him huge amounts of joy.
