Based in Cornwall and London with an EU passport.

Charlie Key grew up next door to a filmmaker who, at that time, was one of the few people in Europe to own a Phantom high-speed video camera, capable of filming in super slow motion. Working with him as a young boy - filming rattle snakes strike at 2,000 frames per second and watching water balloons burst in slow motion - Charlie’s eyes were opened to the magic of filmmaking from a young age. Now, with his commercial experience in fashion and documentary and inspired by his close relationship with the natural world, Charlie likes to produce quality, authentic films that connect audiences to a deeper place within themselves and to the natural environment that surrounds us all. He has worked in the most extreme of conditions from filming long distance nordic ski expeditions within the Arctic Circle, to high altitude treks in the Himalayas, freediving off remote islands on the equator and filming in heavy surf on shallow reefs. Charlie recently completed shooting his first narrative short, Circle Hook, which is planned for release in 2025. Filmmaking, for Charlie, is a privilege, and one that brings him huge amounts of joy and satisfaction.
