Charlie Key

Charlie Key is a DOP and self-shooting director working across documentary and narrative. He is drawn to character-led stories, long journeys, and the resilience of the human mind, and enjoys working in demanding and remote environments – from Arctic ski expeditions and high-altitude treks to heavy surf and underwater shoots.

Commercially, he has collaborated as a DOP with Dior, Nike, Speedo, EasyJet, Next, Ffern, Spy Optics, Ted Baker, Environment Agency, and Textile Exchange. His first narrative short as DOP, Circle Hook, was recognised at the Cornwall Film Festival. Filmmaking, for him, is a privilege and a craft he continues to enjoy deeply.
